Despite all the excitement about the historical appearance of a carriage, no compromise was made during the development of the AAGLANDER in terms of the safety of passengers, pedestrians and the environment. Therefore, all components of the AAGLANDER relevant to safety were constructed and examined on the basis of modern FEM calculations. These and extensive practice tests have set a new technical standard of safety for mechanically driven carriages.
